Description
Made in the USA by Swift Design and Textiles
The RM-1 is built for the field. Now it has a pouch that is too.
The Ruggedized Radio Pouch from Swift Design and Textiles is custom-built to fit the RM-1 from Appalachiastan Technologies. Designed in collaboration with the team behind the Swift Sling, this pouch solves one of the biggest frustrations of carrying a ruggedized device: how to mount it securely without slowing you down.
Instead of forcing the RM-1 into a traditional clamshell or soft pouch, this pouch uses a fold-open, multi-panel design that wraps the radio like armor. Stiffened MOLLE backing ensures the RM-1 stays flush to your gear—no sagging, no bounce. Quick Velcro closure lets you deploy or stow your radio fast, even with gloves on. And yes—it plays nice with the RM-1’s oversized silicone bumpers, which tend to hang up on other pouches.
It’s not just functional—it looks right, too. Available in a range of colorways including:
-
Black
-
Coyote
-
Ranger Green
-
M81
-
Multicam (Standard, Tropic, Arid, Alpine, and Black)
-
Vietnam Tiger Stripe
-
Desert Tiger Stripe
Need a different pattern? Just ask—we can likely make it happen.
Each pouch is made to order by Swift Design and Textiles in the USA. Please allow up to 2 weeks for assembly and shipping.
Why We Love It:
-
Built Around the RM-1, Not Just Compatible With It
Most radio pouches are generic and awkward. This one was designed specifically for the RM-1's unique size, shape, and silicone armor—no fighting to shove it in or yank it out. -
No More Flop
The stiffened MOLLE backing gives it structure. Whether you're sprinting, climbing, or crawling, your radio stays locked in place—not bouncing or dragging off your belt line. -
Fast Access When It Matters
The wrap-around design gives you fast in-and-out access without compromising retention. It's a field-ready solution, not a range toy. -
Made by the Same People Who Use It
Swift Design and Textiles is run by shooters, riggers, and responders—not marketers. Every stitch is there for a reason, and it shows. -
It Just Looks Right
From M81 to Desert Tiger Stripe, the pouch not only works—it blends into your kit like it was always meant to be there.
