Description
The UV-5R Guard from Vigilante Engineering is the coolest thing to happen to the Baofeng radio since Part 97 was regulated. This guard does three things: Protects the volume knob from negligent adjustments, covers the "shoot me" light on top of the radio, improving light discipline, and gives a (small) bit of extra support to the antenna - all while keeping the profile of the radio low and sleek.
It's a cheap but highly effective upgrade. These will come standard on our UV-5R upgrade kits, but you can also buy them a-la-cart here.
