Learn the fundamentals of FPV drone piloting and field repairs in this two-day intensive course designed for first responders, tactical users, and preparedness-minded civilians. Training is held at Treadproof Academy. This course will give you the basic skills that you need for manual FPV piloting, scouting terrain, or just honing your flight skills.

Unlike FPV racing courses, this practical, mission-focused training is designed for real-world scenarios, not just sport. You’ll train alongside drone engineers, special forces veterans, and expert pilots to gain hands-on experience flying multiple drone platforms.

Beginner as well as skilled pilots can expect to increase experience in:

Goggles down flight with multiple drone platforms
Drone safety and emergency procedures
Line of sight piloting and landing
Drone components and repairs
US Regulations
Understanding of airspace
FPV Drone Simulators

Pricing includes all necessary equipment, and lunch on both days. Airfare and ground transportation to the training site not included.

On-site Lodging for June 6-8: Optional for $170

Lodging is bunkhouse style with shared kitchen, dining room and tv lounge. Students staying on-site are encouraged to arrive on the evening of June 6th for a cookout with the instructors.
